Thanh My is a Westminster institution. Everyone comes here and with its extensive menu, caters to all palettes and parties. It's like the Cheesecake Factory of Vietnamese food - a little something for everyone.
I stopped by for dinner. I was highly indecisive and ended up ordering a small bowl of bún riêu ($6.95). Bún riêu is a rice noodle dish that comes with shrimp and crab paste, deep fried tofu, and tomatoes. Although this wasn't the best bowl of bún riêu I've ever had, it wasn't the worst either and I was thankful that there were so many choices on the menu to appease my indecisive appetite.
The bún riêu was good - they give you a generous portion of the shrimp and crab paste. I felt the broth was slightly oily, but overall, it had good flavor. Don't forget to ask for a side of mm ruc because that really adds an extra flavor to the broth.
I had dinner around 6:30 and by the time I left around 7:30ish, the place was teeming with patrons. This place is open late compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area so that is something to consider. -

I was starving late at night during the week. I had not been here for quite some time. Parking was easy in big parking lot.
I ordered D7 combo, came with shredded pork, pork cake, shrimp stuffed tofu skin, & grilled beef. Chased down with some hot tea. It hit the spot for a midnight snack. I think I ordered too much for late meal. Food was pretty average overall.
Maybe 3 1/2 stars for late night restaurant in area.
Servers were friendly, sat quickly and food came out quickly as well. -

My favorite of all the hundred of restaurants in Little Saigon. Thank My is an institution as it was one of the originals in Westminster. The menu is THiCK with lots of individual choices. Our favorite are the prix fixed dinners. They also offer the rare TARO SOUP which is always my go-to dish whenever I'm here. Aside frm that, the Catfish in a Clay Pot, Rare Beef in Lemon, Shaken Beef over Rice or Macaroni are also dishes which I recommend here.

Excellent authentic Vietnamese dishes with French influence. I've been here on several occasions and the food is consistently fresh and flavorful every time. I absolutely love the steak and noodle dish, wonton soup and green tea.

Special broken rice dish I had was probably one of the best in the area! The service was ok. The owner has had the restaurant for 39 years! Some area of the restaurant shows of age but you go to a restaurant for the food of course. Overall it was authentic and the environment was good
